Fully designed and implemented http://ringtrue.net (defunct). RingTRUE is a virtual hosted PBX system for small businesses and individuals. The main user interface is a dynamic web application that allows the user to update phone and routing information, create text to speech and listen to voice mail and call recordings, all in a convenient single page interface. Current projects include integrating ringTRUE technologies into the PalmPre and iPhone.
Skill set used at this employer include Linux, php, mysql, CSS, javascript/Jquery, AJAX, text to speech engines (Swift, Festival), various audio conversion applications and the PalmPre SDK.
RingTRUE is out of business, but the technolgy is still being used as a marketing tool for America's Auction Network

Worked in conjunction with the Mozilla accessibility team to integrate ARIA (Assistive Rich Internet Applications) support into Firefox and the Orca screen reader. My duties included all ARIA related Python scripting within Orca, Python based performance and regression testing and wiki markup documentation for Orca. In addition, I supported the Mozilla team by doing extensive testing of Firefox3.0 and submitted numerous ARIA related bug reports. Did some minor work on the AT-SPI Collection Interface and later utilized the Collection Interface in Orca for performance enhancements. See Orca Collection Interface Integration.
Continued work on the Linux Screen Reader Project (LSR) as described in the Computer Technology Group work experience.

- Designed and marketed a revolutionary HMI development package written in Python and Javascript that utilizes SVG, AJAX, Firefox, Javascript, OpenOffice and several other open source technologies.

- Contributed to the design of a generic image data object to be used throughout L-3's family of security systems.
- Contributed to the maintenance of a Baggage Viewing Station; a C++/Motif based GUI. This included extensive image enhancements to both 2-D and 3-D images, integration of the new image data structure, and a significant number of minor enhancements and bug fixes.
- Fully designed a C++/QT based system installation GUI used by field technicians to install and configure the Examiner System. This package included many Linux system administration tasks and demonstrated proper GUI design.
- Fully designed an RPM based development package used by the Algorithm Development team as a template for future explosive detection algorithms.
- Performed extensive testing and debugging within L-3's baggage handling laboratory.
- Supported field personnel with testing, troubleshooting, and debugging.
